Things here are just CRAZY! Dari.us is sicker than sick. He's got a viral infection so there is really no medicine to give him to help him feel better. Other than Motrin.. He's just hurtin. Poor baby. I'm off work tomorrow and this weekend will be busy with the funeral and the construction in our upstairs. We need to move D's room to the "new room" and move our room to the other end of the house. ALL on Sunday! Joy.. Not!

My weekend plans were put on hold. At about 4:something am Saturday morning I got a phone call from my girl, T. Her mother, V, passed away. ;( T wasn't at home when she got the phone call and was on her way to the hospital when she called me. She made it to one of our girlfriends house and they rode the rest of the way together. T has custody of her niece, M, who is 15. V had gotten full custody of M when she was just an infant. When V fell ill, about 5-6 years ago, T took over full custody of M.

Me and 5 other friends went straight to T's house. We didn't know when T would be able to return home and we needed to get there to, not only support M, but to TELL M about her grandmothers passing. My girl S got there a few minutes before I did and had already woken M up. OMG.. That was one of the hardest things I had to witness! M was so hurt! But above all that.. She was worried about everyone else. She felt robbed because V was supposed to watch her get her Drivers License & watch her graduate! I could do nothing but stroke her back and hug her.

Dlo was so great! As I have said before, he and I were friends for 16 years before our relationship started. He knows V just as well as I do. His mother used to work with V for YEARS! He stayed home and cared for the kids while I was gone. I didn't have to worry about getting to the kids.. He handled it all. We all finally left T's house around 5:00 pm when she was too exhausted to stay awake! I think the service will be this Saturday, but it may be Friday. She didn't want a Funeral, per say. She wants a BIG ASS party! lol That's how she was. She doesn't want us boo-hoo'in about her death, she wants us to Celebrate her life! So that's just what they are planning!

Sunday we didn't do too much. We did watch Band Camp. OMG.. Some FUNNY SHIT! I have the weakest stomach known to man and I gagged at this one part. If you've seen it.. You know what I'm talking about. Just think Soda Pop! Dlo just laughed his ass of at ME! Ami.yah & Dar.ius were staying the night at friends houses, so Dlo, Maka.yla and I went to get our Toes done! She just got hers painted with little flowers on them. Cute. Made a Wal.Mart run and that was it.

Last night Ami.yah and I went shopping at the mall so she could use the gift card she got for Christmas. Let me just explain to y'all how tiny my daughter is! The only jeans that fit her, need to come from Pac.Sun. She's only 11 (will be 12 next month), but she's TALL and THIN! In all actuality, she has the same size waist as my 6 year old! For the longest time she couldn't wear jeans PERIOD because of this problem. We would have to buy her the cute sweat suits. She got so tired of those!! The problem with Girl sizes is that the waist gets a little bigger, but the length doesn't get much longer. A lady here at work told me about size 00. The waist is SUPER tiny, but the length is just what she needs! But I have a hard time spending $40-$60 for a pair of jeans for an ELEVEN year old! Sometimes they have a 2/$55 sale or we can score big on the clearance racks! I'm guessing size 00 isn't all that popular because we can usually find a 1 or 2 different styles on the rack in her size. Last night she got a really cute pair of jeans with a super cute jacket... $39!

We then went to Tar.get. She's been having "cramps" for a few days now. We bought some pads to keep in her backpack. I told her all about what happens when you get your period.. How to put the pad in her chonies.. I'm trying to prepare her so that she doesn't FREAK out when that day comes! I think that she is a bit more comfortable about it now. Why is it that girls want to get it SO bad?? I wish I DIDN'T have it!

From the time she was 6 months 'til just about 6 months ago, we were told that she would never have a period (or children). She was born with a condition (that I won't put out there) that resulted in what they called "absent uterus". She went thru test after test after test for 6 years. After each test, the results were the same and they found no uterus. Back about 6 months ago, she fell ill with severe stomach pain and was hospitalized for 5 days (to only find on the 5th day that they would take her appendix.. and that seemed to cure the pain!)... During the surgery, by only a miracle that GOD could create, they found her uterus. Why this surgeon found it and 5-10 SPECIALISTS couldn't.. is beyond me. We all think that her going into the hospital was a sign. We then go back to a specialist after she is released from the hospital for the other 'condition'. Only to find out thru an examination that her body has "cured" the condition. This is a condition that would only be fixable by multiple surgeries! My daughter is a walking miracle!

Mak.ayla lost another tooth on NYE that I forgot to post about. She had already lost both of her front teeth and only 1 has grown back in. Now she lost the tooth on the side of the one that is grown in. I'll give you a second to picture that..... It looks so funny that it's cute! When she smiles, you can only see 1 tooth in the front of her mouth! I'll have to remember to post a picture.

We aren't doing much of anything this weekend. I have WW tomorrow and then step class. We have to pick up the BEAST (read.. Durango) at the dealership. I forgot to post about how we got a RECALL.. Something about a plug in the engine catching fire! How shitty would that have been? Dlo dropped it off this morning on his way to work and we'll get it tomorrow. Ami.yah wants to have TWO friends stay the night tomorrow because Dar.ius did on NYE.. Good argument, but I told her that's up to Dlo. I'm steppin out tomorrow night for a few hours for our "Annual Girlfriend Holiday Gift Exchange". Yeah.. We know! We're late, but hey.. That's how we do it! lol

I am welcoming 2006 with open arms! I just have a feeling that this will be the year of many new beginnings!

I submitted my vacation time for 2006 and got it back today. Approved! I will be taking July 5th - July 14th off work. We are heading to CALIFORNIA baby! ;) We decided that this year we are driving (ooh lawd) with the 4 kids from WA to CA for our family vacation. We will be stopping along the way in OR somewhere overnight and then continue our way to CA. The kids are SO excited. The last time I took them to Disney Land, Maka.yla was 2 so we didn't really get to enjoy it like we will this time. We have trend.west time-share, so we'll be staying about an hour or so from Disney Land. We have some family in San Diego and will spend some time with them also. I can't tell you how badly I need this vacation!!

I put in for a few more days during the year. On January 27th our family from San Diego are flying in for the Engagement Dinner. When I sent the invitation, I never in a million years thought they would come for it! So Dlo and I both took the day off work. We are all probably heading up to the snow for intertubing! I haven't done that since I was a kid!!!

Speaking of the Engagement Dinner... As of today, the count is 52 people. Damn!!! I still have until the 13th to turn in the numbers. I'm guessing around 60 people will RSVP. Dlo and I reserved a hotel room for that night!! I just didn't see it appropriate going home @ 2:30 am with a house full of company. lol

Our NYE was SO much fun! I don't remember everything, but lets just say that after 30 guests, 250 jello-shots, COUNTLESS bottles of alcohol.. We had a fun party! We woke up on NY day and made a big brunch for those who were left. Last year we didn't make as many jello-shots and had quite a few left over. This year... Not a single shot to be found! I hope everyone enjoyed their night!

Now that my desk is back in order, I can actually do an update!

My step-daughter (to be), Kei, lives in Phoe.nix. I made sure that I had her Christmas package in the mail ON TIME! I sent it USPS PRIORITY, with Delivery Confirmation & Insurance! Don't you know that she didn't get her package until today!?! They attempted to deliver it 12/22 @ 2:58, I know this because of the Delivery Confirmation, and when her mom when to pick it up the following day.. The package was no where to be found. She then tried to pick it up Christmas Eve, but again, they couldn't find the package. It was never checked back into their system after the attempted delivery on 12/22! I will NEVER send anything important USPS again.. I'm using UPS!

My kids loved Christmas and scored like you wouldn't believe! Every year I feel like I didn't do enough, and every year it ends up being too much! Dlo spoiled me! I will be one RELAXED ($250 Gift Card to Gene Juarez) woman who smells good (can't remember the name of the 2nd one, but it smells REALLY nice!) while toting my purse from Victoria.Secrets. He did good! He scored too! I got him the PSP with all the fixin's and the NBA 2006 game. I figured it would be perfect since he drives a bus all day and has layovers. Such a smart woman, because he LOVED it!

We've had Dlo's nephew, Jai, since Christmas afternoon! He and Dar.ius get along SO good that we didn't even know they were there. He left last night and will be back on Friday to spend the New Years with us. Sometimes I feel bad for Dar.ius because he is surrounded by only girls. It's good for him to have a boy around.

We're celebrating NYE at home! Every year we have a big 'ol party with friends and family! This way we don't have to venture out and risk the drive home. So we all get shit-faced at home and people start falling where they can. Then we all wake up the next morning and have a big 'ol brunch to feed our hangovers!

Christmas is FINALLY over! My house is FINALLY rid of all the wrappings and back to normal. Well, sorta! We started remodeling the upstairs. Another bedroom will be added (for Dar.ius) and his room will become the Master Bathroom/Closet. Kinda hard to explain, but it will look so GOOD when all is done.

I hope that everyone had a WONDERFUL & SAFE Holiday and that they spent it in the way they needed to.

Things got real busy here yesterday so I didn't have a chance to post about my dramafied weekend.

So lets just start off with a little bit of history on the situation. Me and my ex had been together for almost 9 years (off and on). We basically grew up together, started dating when we were 16. We get along pretty good (for the most part) unless he starts actin funny about CS or dickin off his days with the kids. So just the normal ex drama. Any girl that he has dated, usually doesn't like me.. with the exception of 1. We attend all of the kids functions together (not together TOGETHER, but you get what I mean) and we still laugh and joke around. Not in a flirting way, but we don't ignore eachother at sporting events. DLo and C (my ex) get along pretty well. They joke around and have never had any ill feeling twords eachother... They actually respect eachother and the roles each of them play in the kids' lives. Because we actually get along, his girlfriends tend to not like me. Ooh well...

That all being said... The girl in question is a BIATCH! I've never liked her. She's always seemed shady to me.. And that's a quality that I can't stand.. In men OR women! C and S (the girl) dated briefly before. I think only for like 3-4 months. I posted about her a LONG while back (have since deleted all archives)... Just incase you were around back then, it's the same chick that felt C did too much for ME. He never does anything for ME personally.. He does for HIS kids!

So... To get to what happened. I was redoing the kids' rooms this past Saturday and I get a phone call from C telling me that he's taking the kids to his moms house and how (his words) "This bitch done flipped her wig". I hear S screaming all kinds of "F" this n that and what-nots in the background. So I'm asking, "What's going on? Are the kids ok?" And he starts to tell me that S is trippin because he got his and KK's (the little one) hair braided by a female (like he was supposed to find a man to do it) and now she's throwing DISHES at him. AND GET THIS.. He says, "And one almost hit KK's head!" So you know that I'm HOT by this point. I told him that I didn't give a FUCK what was going on between them, but she needs to cut that shit out infront of my kids or her and I are gonna have some problems. She starts yelling in the back about how I need to "Bring it" and that "I can't do shit" and how she'll "whoop my ass"! Mind you that I may be quiet (to an extent) but you can't talk THAT much shit and expect me to just sit back. I told C that I'm on my way to get my kids and I say, "What's your address?!" (they've moved and I didn't know where the new house was) Right after he says the address, this BITCH gets her happy ass on the phone and calls 911! I heard her in the back saying, "His babies-mom is on her way to beat me up!" How are you going to talk THAT much shit and then call 911? Can someone please help me out on that one? I was honestly going to pick them up.. But if she said anything or tried anything.. I wasn't above puttin my hands on her!

They just moved into their house in September and are locked in a lease. So can you imagine the tension over there? They have separated, but neither has moved out yet. But he knows better than to bring her around me.. period! I'm assuming he's put her in her place about what to and not to say to me... If she has any questions, all she has to do is ask his sons mother what happens when you talk shit and have nothing to back it up. I don't like starting confrontation, but I don't back out of it either.

Ok.. Probably not as juicy as y'all would have liked, but I was still hot she called 911 on me and I wasn't even in the same city as them. lol Had I gone over there, it would have taken me 20+ minutes!

Wow.. There I go again letting almost a week go by without posting.

We had a good anniversary! I ended up getting Dlo a cologne that he has been asking for and a XBox game. He was a happy camper. He got me the "Dream Angels" perfume that I asked for from Victoria.Secrets. I love that stuff! Smells so nice!

On Saturday we got up early and headed to Weight.Watchers. Down 1.6 lbs. So I lost the pound I gained last week and .6 more. That's works for me. I need to loose .8 lb by this Saturday to hit my Christmas goal that they asked us to set. After WW, I went to the gym and did a Step-Class. I'm actually getting good at it. lol It was funny because Dlo tried to do the class with me. He was in there trying to act all good and that it wasn't hard. He lasted 3 minutes and gave up!

For the rest of Saturday we rearranged the kids rooms. For the past (almost) 7 years, Ami.yah and Makay.la have shared a room. But they've hit an age where they desperately NEEDED their OWN rooms! We moved the office downstairs and turned it into Makay.la's room. I couldn't get over how much SHIT my kids have! They were gone for the weekend so it was a good time to deep clean and throw all that SHIT away w/out them protesting. I also redid Dar.ius' room. It looks so much more of a grown boys room than a child's room. When they got home on Sunday they were all definitely surprised! They had no clue we were doing it. Their rooms will be complete after Christmas since we got them alot of new things as presents. I'll take pictures then.

Some other drama happened on Saturday night, but I really don't want to get into that right now. I'll post about it tomorrow, maybe. Let's just say it has to do with my babies-daddy-current-psycho-girlfriend and how she ended up calling 911 on me. Like I said.. Very dramafied!

On Sunday Dlo and I went to his nephews basketball game. Dlo's dad coaches and it was good to see the game. Actually, Dlo wanted to see if Dar.ius would be able to hold his own in the league. And he feels he could. But I don't know why he wanted to see it.. The practices and games are in SEATTLE.. Too far to drive for basketball practices. We'll stick with the boys & girls club! His dad also wanted to talk to us about our wedding. He wants to help $$ financially and I'm not about to turn his $$ finances away! ;) He wants Dlo and I to sit down and put together a budget and give it to him and see what he can do! No problemo dadio!! I told him we can all sit down after the first of the year!

What else? Oooh.. On Sunday night Dar.ius "Clumsy" Tre.von was rushing in the front door and banged his knee pretty good on the door frame. A million tears & 5 hours in the ER later, we were home. I was SO exhausted yesterday because we didn't get home until 2:30 am! He's fine.. Just a little dramatic!

My kids are on Winter Holiday starting yesterday. They won't go back until after the New Year. They called me 100 times yesterday for CRAZY reasons. Today hasn't been so bad, maybe it's because I threatened them with presents.. Who knows? ;)

WOW... What a long weekend.

I had my Christmas party on Saturday night and decided not to go. I really wanted to, but decided that we would get our Christmas shopping done instead. We are pretty much done!! Only a few things left, but we're waiting for this weekend to finish up.

WW was "blah" on Saturday. I gained 1 pound. I worked my butt off in the gym last week! So this week I'm only doing cardio and seeing if that makes a difference. But hey, I'm still down 6 pounds.. So I can't look at it too harsh.

On Monday we had a Drug Rep lunch here at work. That's one of the best things working in a Medical office.. BEFORE I joined WW! They brought Thai food.. One of my favorites! I decided to have a small bit of Spinach/Chicken in peanut sauce. About 2:00 I got a massive migraine!! I stayed at work and went home to bed. Yesterday I left work because I STILL had this damn migraine! They gave me a shot in my BUTT and sent me home to rest. I STILL have this damn migraine. I've been puking and I haven't slept. I called in this morning and was told, "We have noone to cover your desk, you need to come in." Needless to say.. I'm at work.. I have a migraine.. I'm tired & pissed.. And I'm a big 'ol grouch!!

This upcoming Sunday is mine and DLo's 1 year anniversary!! I have no clue what to get the man! Anyone have any suggestions?! It's pretty close to Christmas for something huge. I know we are going out Saturday night for a nice dinner and maybe dancing.'
